Ideas/ Mood Board

As we had chosen our track for are music video, we had then had to think about what type of music video we would want to produce. A performance based video would not be possible as our song is quite techno and alternative based. A concept video was considered by wasn't chosen due to the time it would take. So a narrative based video was chosen. This was great for our music video as we could combine different ideas in many aspects like characters, props and location.
Before thinking of ideas, we listened to the track a couple of times to see what our imagination could come up with and then developing from there.

• Firstly we considered a narrative with a male character having Schizophrenia, as with this we could create two sides/ personality to this particular character.
• We also discussed a relationship between a male and female, different stages of a relationship such as the break up came to mind, recovering from a loss/death? of a partner.
• Considering having at least two characters within our music video, roles of the character came to mind such as a protagonist and antagonist.
• As the track was trippy and alternative, props to create uncertainty such as a gas mask or vail.
• Going into specific shots, getting inspiration from other music videos such as light trails and a street lamp going out of focus.

These are only a few of strong and possible ideas we had come up with.
